Good emotional health leads to better physical health, prevents diseases, and makes it possible to enjoy life and be happier. Emotional balance occurs when we allow ourselves to feel whatever comes up, without feeling stifled or overwhelmed, and learn to accept our feelings without judgment.

When we are out of sync with our emotions, we sometimes become overly emotional about things that normally easily dealt with, we are become more irritable, snapping at the slightest thing, and expereince mood swings. It is not also uncommon to experience a loss in sense of purpose and feeling unappreciated.

It is importance if your emotions become so unstable that it is affecting your relationships with others, or causes bouts of thoughst of self-harm or suicide that you can in touch with your health provider.
